Nina by Sara Hess Roney is the latest book to be published by Sydney School of Arts & Humanities, now available on Amazon books and in selected bookstores.
Set in New York in the ’80s, the story follows the changes in the life of a fragile young woman who leaves her secure marriage and moves to New York City. There she finds insight into the workings of her mind through an illicit relationship with Benjamin, a self-destructive painter.
Discovering the world of psychoanalysis, they experience the depths of love and loss.
Sara Hess Roney holds a Master of Fine Arts in Speech and Drama from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She is a former student of Paul Baker. She lives and writes in Sydney.
