Global distribution works for SSOA
Using a global distribution network for books published by Sydney School of Arts & Humanities (SSOA), it was pleasing this week to see a couple of books by one of our authors on sale in a bookshop in southern Italy.
Ferdinando Manzo, who has published a novel in Italian, found a bookstore near his home town Vico Equense, outside of Naples (or more correctly, Napoli) not only had his novel on display but also his poetry and short story published by SSOA.
It means locals can keep in touch with his writing output even while he’s living on the other side of the world in Sydney.
‘Global distribution is the most important aspect of publishing that has come about over the last few years as a result of global distribution in so many fields,’ Manzo says.
‘It’s a great boost for an author to know that his or her work can be purchased anywhere in the world at any time from bookstores, online stores and Amazon Books.’
